Free Rice!

Free rice. Yes, you heard (er, read.) me. Free. Rice. By now you're probably wondering what exactly I'm talking about. Well, it's as simple as it sounds: Free rice! Still not sure what free rice has to do with anything? Free rice is more than free rice, freerice.com is a nonprofit website that donates 10 grains (it adds up. Quick. 50 grains of rice is a lot for somebody who didn't have any!) of rice through the World Food Program.
What do they have to do with you? You help them. You don't help, you fuel them. On the website there is a question. A simple question at that. As my front page says:
"rarely means:
overhead
afterwards
seldom
poorly"
Anybody who knows what the word "rarely" means would click the last one, seldom.
To the right of the page, there is an empty bowl. As you answer questions, this bowl begins to fill up. It will say below this bowl "You have donated x grains of rice." And this helps you really see how it begins adding up. As you start to fill up your bowl. eventually your rice will disappear. That means you've answered enough questions and donated enough rice that you've fed one person. Now isn't that awesome? It sure is to me! When you're bored and sitting on a computer, why not widen your vocabulary (although the questions are pretty easy at first, they'll get harder.) and feed some people whole you're at it?
